Problem
GripGym needed to stand out in the obstacle course racing (OCR) space without falling into the cliché of gladiators, flames, and hyper-masculinity. They wanted a modern, inclusive brand that champions progress and mindset as much as physical strength.
Solution
I developed a brand system built on precision, movement, and inner drive. A custom “G” logo inspired by modular obstacles, a bold yet agile type system, and a confident navy-turquoise palette created an identity that is youthful, minimal, and instantly recognisable across platforms.
Outcome
The brand achieved strong recall in the OCR community, forged emotional resonance with athletes, and clearly differentiated itself from competitors—positioning GripGym as the gym for ambition without ego.
